
A Children’s Village resident is accused of allegedly asking one of his peers to stab another student, then assaulting the victim along with two of his 15-year-old friends after the victim refused.
Police said the 17-year-old victim sustained bruising to his forehead, back, neck and shoulders after he was jumped by the students on Nov. 13 around 6:30 p.m. o school grounds.
Eddie Marte, 16, was charged with assault in the second degree, a class D felony, while the two 15-year-olds were given juvenile delinquency appearance tickets. All are required to show up for future court dates.
